El Viatge was created with the aim of creating a personal and intimate project. On the one hand, from the kitchen, chef Ulises, trained at the Hofmann School in Barcelona and a connoisseur of haute cuisine, is committed to a unique culinary experience that makes you travel the world through different flavours. And on the other side, Andra, at the head of the dining room with a great passion for the customers, makes attention and service the basic pillars of El Viatge.
If you like to eat outdoors, you can do so on our terrace, in front of the restaurant and a few metres from the beach, enjoying the breeze and the smell of the sea.
If you like to see how each dish is prepared and you want to experience the live show, our interior is the place for you. Thanks to our open kitchen you will be able to see the team doing what they love most: COOKING.
Or, if you prefer peace and quiet, we recommend our patio, away from the noise of a busy Cadaqués.
If we talk about our cuisine, it combines avant-garde, flavour and tradition that, through different preparation techniques and an innovative approach, offer defined and powerful flavours. Our chef, Ulises Ballesta, a passionate traveler, cultures and customs, has been able to take a little piece of its gastronomy from each place and apply it in each of his creations.
We define our dishes as a combination of flavours, textures and aromas, with an emphasis on the pure flavour and specific backgrounds of each product, which thanks to Kamado Joe, an old Asian-style barbecue, we can respect and maintain. The restaurant's menu provides an intense and flavourful experience, taking you on a culinary journey like no other.
