In such a special place as Cadaqués

El Viatge was created with the aim of creating a personal and intimate project. On the one hand, from the kitchen, chef Ulises, trained at the Hofmann School in Barcelona and a connoisseur of haute cuisine, is committed to a unique culinary experience that makes you travel the world through different flavours. And on the other side, Andra, at the head of the dining room with a great passion for the customers, makes attention and service the basic pillars of El Viatge.

A few metres from the sea

If you like to eat outdoors, you can do so on our terrace, in front of the restaurant and a few metres from the beach, enjoying the breeze and the smell of the sea.

If you like to see how each dish is prepared and you want to experience the live show, our interior is the place for you. Thanks to our open kitchen you will be able to see the team doing what they love most: COOKING.

Or, if you prefer peace and quiet, we recommend our patio, away from the noise of a busy Cadaqués.

Shared travel

If we talk about our cuisine, it combines avant-garde, flavour and tradition that, through different preparation techniques and an innovative approach, offer defined and powerful flavours. Our chef, Ulises Ballesta, a passionate traveler, cultures and customs, has been able to take a little piece of its gastronomy from each place and apply it in each of his creations.

We define our dishes as a combination of flavours, textures and aromas, with an emphasis on the pure flavour and specific backgrounds of each product, which thanks to Kamado Joe, an old Asian-style barbecue, we can respect and maintain. The restaurant's menu provides an intense and flavourful experience, taking you on a culinary journey like no other.


About us


Reserve a table on the terrace outside for a breezy evening with a fantastic view on the bay and the busy square.
Food is delicious, prepared with care and a lot of attention to detail. Service is fast and kind.
Also churros bravos are just genius!?! Best bravas I've ever had, so creative yet the traditional flavours are all there. I should have got two, they are too good to be shared!
Reservation is really recommended, it's often fully booked.

Opcions vegetarianes: There are 3 options and only in the starters (artichoke, eggplant, churros bravos).
I would recommend the restaurant to add a couple of veggie main plates

Nous avons mangé là-bas un dimanche midi, nous avons pas réservé et nous avons bien été accueillis.
Nous avons très bien mangé :
Croquettes de jambon ibérique, churros bravos, artichauts grillés et straciatella aux gambas. Un délice. Nous recommandons ce restaurant !! ??
Un des serveurs était très appréciable, et très gentil avec nous.

El restaurante es una preciosidad por dentro, está decorado con mucho gusto.
El trato fue muy bueno, los chicos son hiper amables y atentos. Y la comida es deliciosa la mires por donde la mires...
Nosotros tomamos las churro bravas y la stracciatella de gambas (no os vayáis sin probar este plato) es el mejor plato que me he comido en cadaqués en 10 años que llevo viniendo... También tomamos las burguers y de postre el cheesecake y els taps... Porque no podíamos más... Sino hubiésemos pedido más cosas para probar.... Se convertirá en el sitio al que vendremos cada año.... MUY RECOMENDABLE!!! ❤️

Une très belle surprise. Nous avons commandé à partager des croquettes de poulet, le bao au canard et l'aubergine grillée. C'était excellent, le tout avec une belle vue sur la mer.
